Sawing looks like the simplest operation in the building, yet it is also the one that quietly decides whether the next one goes smoothly. For example, a length that is out or an end that is not square shows up later as a gap in a weldment or a part that will not fixture. The M-20A is an automatic horizontal pivot saw built for heavy-duty work, with the mitering capability to hold an angle across a run rather than on the first piece only. As a result, precision metal saw cutting stays repeatable on a 200-piece order instead of a 2-piece sample.
Because the saw sits alongside laser, machining, routing, and forming, sawn stock does not have to leave the building to become a finished part.
Programmable mitering
Go-to angle functionality sets the miter automatically, so a mixed-angle cut list runs without resetting the head by hand.
Long single strokes
Meanwhile, automatic multi-indexing up to 33" in a single stroke keeps a long cut list moving without constant repositioning.
Bundle cutting
Likewise, multiple pieces cut together when the quantity justifies it, which brings the per-piece cost down on repeat lengths.
