AST offers CNC Machining and Milling services for a wide range of industries and applications. We utilize the latest in CNC technology to make high precision machined parts. We have a full line of 3 and 4-Axis machining centers equipped with automation to handle both small and large volume runs. Components are produced with standard tolerances of +/-0.001”. Tighter tolerances may be specified but may affect pricing and delivery. Secondary operations such as tapping, marking, and surface treatments are available upon request.

Using the latest in drawing & programming software, Draftsight Professional, our dedicated CAD/CAM department programs all parts offline and download to our server for machine access. We can create tooling programs for our four CNC centers using customer-supplied CAD files, engineering drawings, prototypes or even hand-drawn sketches. These programs allow us to mill, drill, route, contour and turn your parts with precision and repeatability.
We can accept a large array of CAD File Formats:
- Solid Works (.sldprt)
- ACIS Solids (.SAT file)
AST is also capable of creating CAD files from parts using our Virtek LaserQC.

AST’s milling capabilities are cutting edge. Through our advanced machining techniques, we are able to maintain excellent tolerances and create features that many deem impossible. By using high-speed spindles and tightly controlled work envelopes, AST can machine components ranging from the simplest part to the most intricate part on any of the machines in our facility.

CNC Routing – 3 & 4-Axis
AST has many years of expertise routing non-ferrous materials. There are times that CNC routing is not only the most efficient but is also the most cost-effective process.

- Non-ferrous materials up to 1.0″ thick
- 96” x 192” maximum panel size
- Tolerances to +/- 0.003″
- High RPM Spindles (24,000 RPM)
