AST offers CNC Machining and Milling services for a wide range of industries and applications. We utilize the latest in CNC technology to make high precision machined parts. We have a full line of 3 and 4-Axis machining centers equipped with automation to handle both small and large volume runs. Components are produced with standard tolerances of +/-0.001”. Tighter tolerances may be specified but may affect pricing and delivery. Secondary operations such as tapping, marking, and surface treatments are available upon request.

AST has advanced its CNC machining capabilities with the acquisition of the newest machine available from HAAS – the GM-2 Gantry Mill.
The GM-2 is a heavy-duty 4-axis gantry mill, when the rotary indexer is installed, which is designed for serious metal removal and large-part machining, such as airframe components, large plates, and long extrusions. The machine’s rigid steel construction provides a very stable cutting platform.
The GM-2’s bed size will handle large castings, plate, and assemblies. The machine comes equipped with a 30+1 tool capacity to make changing tools easy. The bed size measures:
X Axis: 145”
Y Axis: 87.5”
Z Axis: 22”
The GM-2 can process, Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Bronze, Titanium, and any other material you want to challenge it with.
